February 15, 2010 "Breath of Courage" is an Official Selection of The 2380 Project Film Festival
Two films from Little Beth Entertainment, "Breath of Courage" and "the forgotten ones", are both Official Selections of The 2380 Project Film Festival in Akron, Ohio.
The festival will take place on February 19th, 20th and 21st (Friday through Sunday) at the University of Akron Student Union Gardner Theatre. The address is 302 Buchtel Mall; Akron, Ohio 44325. Tickets are $10 for the weekend and $5 for an individual day.
"Breath of Courage" will play
at 12pm on Saturday, February 20th.
"the forgotten ones" will screen on Sunday, February 21st at 2pm.
July 10, 2009 "Breath of Courage" is an Award Winner & Official Selection of the Indie Gathering International Film Festival
The festival will take place August 14 through August 16, 2009 at the Holiday Inn in Westlake, Ohio. The film will screen at 3:10pm in Screening Room C on Saturday, August 15, 2009. Additionally, the Indie Gathering Film Festival award winners have already been annoucnced and "Breath of Courage" takes home the award for Family Feature Film. "Breath of Courage" is an Official Selection of the Geauga Film Festival. The festival will take place June 9 - 14 at the Historic Geauga Theatre on Chardon Square. Breath of Courage is the story of a tenaciously optimistic young girl named Melissa (Katrina Melanie Walker) who plays matchmaker to a couple of new acquaintances (played by Brian Richeson and Sapphire DeFranco) while she and her older brother, Dan (Scott Pyle), spend a week with a family friend, a former stage actress named Mercedes LaRue (Joy Borland), while their parents attempt to work out their marital problems. During their stay, the children learn much about life, but they also teach those they meet that it takes courage and love to truly live.
This charming family film is directed and edited by Peter Anthony Fields from his original story and a screenplay by Evonne Fields-Gould. The film stars Joy Borland, Katrina Melanie Walker, Scott Pyle, Brian Richeson and Sapphire DeFranco.
The supporting cast includes: Cheryl Eitman, Bruce Jennings, John Lynch, Ethan Rosenfeld, Sara Pink, Shanteal Davis and Drew Wheeler. Working behind the camera are assistant directors Abigail Pink and Elizabeth Gould; production assistant Jaclyn Inglis; associate producers Quata Tucker and Joy Borland; original music by Jamal Dillman-Hasso with orchestrations by Richard Krehnovi. The picture was filmed in Stow, Akron and Highland Hills, Ohio, USA.

May 31, 2008 Original Score for "Breath of Courage" completed
The writing of the original score composed by Jamal Dillman-Hasso has been completed. It now moves into the hands of Richard Krehnovi for orchestrations. Director Peter Fields says, "After a very long process of composing music for this film, Jamal's work is finally done. He should be proud of his accomplishment as he has created a score that is wonderfully charming and moving." The original music soundtrack for the film will be released on CD following the release of the movie on DVD later in the year.
May 17, 2008 Recording session for "Breath of Courage"
Performers Brian Richeson and Karoline Krammer-Gould were in the Legato Studios today with engineer and song producer, Cornelius Gould IV, recording two songs that will be featured in the film. "It was great to work with Brian again," says director Peter Fields. "But, he didn't have the beard he wore in the movie. I don't know...that may have affected his singing voice. Maybe we should've painted a beard on him. Oh well."
