Katrina
Melanie Walker ("Melissa
Miller")
Katrina is a 13-year-old from Berea.She will be a Freshman at
Montessori High School at
University
Circle (as of 2009).
This is her second production with Little Beth Entertainment. She has
been involved
in many Cleveland area productions including: Tiny Tim in "A Christmas
Carol", Katya in "A Nightmare of Crime", Young Betty Ann in "Mama's
Veil",
and five consecutive years in The Marylin Bianchi Childrens
Playwriting Festival, among others. She is also a published playwright
for the festival for her plays Portraits of Grief and Elevator Music.
When she is not on
stage or on screen she enjoys, reading, making jewelry, and writing.
She would like to thank Peter for casting her in this extraordinary
film and her friends, family and fellow cast members for their support!

Scott Pyle
("Dan Walker")
Scott is a ninth grader from Westlake, Ohio (as of 2009). He has been
peforming before
audiences since
he was four years old. He has been professionally trained in dance at
the Lisa
Wilhelm Academy and plays piano and drums. His theater background
includes
several performances with the Near West Theatre including “Godspell”,
“Merrily
We Roll Along” (Frank, Jr.) and “Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor
Dreamcoat”. As a fifth grader, played
Winthrop in the Westlake High School’s performance of “The Music Man”. Breath of Courage is Scott’s second
film with Little Beth Entertainment. He looks forward to future
appearances.

Brian
Richeson ("Ryan Nickels")
Breath of Courage marks
Brian's third role in film produced by Little Beth Entertainment.
Brian starred as Jim Corinth in Little Beth Entertainment's 2006
production,
the Lords of Praxton
and had a supporting role in
To See
the Moon in the Morning Sky. Brian also has a leading role
in Johnny Wu's martial arts film,
The
Rapture released in 2008. Brian has appeared in numerous
stage roles. His favorite roles include Ferdinand in the
Cleveland Shakespeare Festival's production of
The Tempest in 2004; the role of
Charlie in the Canton Players Guild 2004-2005 production of
Dirty Blonde; and the role of Max
in the Canton Players Guild 2003-2004 production of
Bent.
By day, Brian is an 8th grade math teacher at Oakwood Middle School in
the Plain Local District in Canton, Ohio. He is currently working
on his Masters Degree from Kent State University in the Mathematics
Specialist program. He will complete his degree in May
2009. Brian would like to thank his wife Jen, Mom, Dad, and all
his friends and family for their support in his passion for performing
both on stage and in film.

John Lynch ("Howard
Sims")
John has performed in the Cleveland area for 30 years. Stage
work includes performing with The Ensemble Theatre, Karamu, Cleveland
Shakespeare Festival, The Jewish Community Center, Beck and Cain Park.
He has
a couple of music videos to his credit and
Breath of Courage is John’s second
appearance in
a movie.

Bruce
Jennings ("Ken Miller")
Bruce Jennings is a frequent contributor to Little Beth
Entertainment Projects, both as an actor and a composer of original
music. He
portrayed “Robert” in The Way Home, and also scored the film. In
"Breath of
Courage", he again played another dad, "Ken Miller". For the forgotten
ones, Bruce
contributed the song, “Don’t Wait Too Long”. Bruce continues to work on
musical
projects in his home studio in Shaker Heights . He works with
children with learning
disabilities in the
Shaker Heights City Schools.

Shanteal
Davis ("Anna")
Shanteal, currently a senior at Shaker Heights High School, has
performed in several school plays, including "Sankofa".
Additionally, Shanteal has appreared in the stage play "Whispers"
at Cuyahoga Community College. "Whispers" will return to
the Cleveland stage in October of 2009 at the Palace Theatre. She
is active in a Senior Ensemble and is a member of SCORR, a group which
visits other Shaker Heights schools to speak to, encourage, and perform
for the younger students.

Jamal Dillman-Hasso (Original
Music Score)
Jamal
Dillman-Hasso
was born in August of 1993. He has scored part of the
Lords of
Praxton with Peter Fields and Richard Krehnovi. Breath of
Courage is
the first complete score he has written, and he is extremely honored to
have
written the score for Peter. Along with being a composer, he is a
pianist,
trumpeter, chamber musician, stage manager, activist, screenwriter, and
aspiring director. Jamal enjoys the writings of Edward Said, the poetry
of Mahmoud Darwish, and the music of Marcel Khalife. Despite all
this, he does also enjoy John Williams and Hans Zimmer.

Abigail Pink
(Assistant Director)
Abigail is a
student attending Case Western Reserve University and
has performed on stage as a member of her high school's theatre
ensemble and has performed on stage and worked as stage manager with
Shaker on Stage / Shaker Summer Theatre. Ms. Pink has previously
worked with Peter on his feature films, The Way Home, the Lords of Praxton, and To See the Moon in the Morning Sky.
Her
other interests include playing French Horn and
piano, as well as reading novels by JD
Salinger.

Elizabeth
Gould
(Assistant Director)
Elizabeth is the sister of director
Peter Fields and the daughter of
screenwriter/producer Evonne Fields-Gould. She currently is a
full time student attending Kent State University. Elizabeth
began working in
film at the age of five when she appeared on camera as the "Little
Angel" in the feature film,
The Walk
(1996).
Since then, Elizabeth has worked as production assistant on
Seekers of the Statue [2003] (in
addition to creating a painting that was featured in that film) and
then as assitant director and property master on
The Way Home (2004),
the Lords of Praxton (2006) in
which she also served as costume designer and the illustrator of the
artwork that appears in the prologue of that film, and
To See the Moon in the Morning Sky
(2007). The
company Little Beth Entertainment is named after Elizabeth.

Peter Fields
has directed and edited
numerous productions over the past 18 years, including the independent
films, The Way Home and To See the Moon in the Morning Sky.
Peter
has also
worked for APS TV15 on Time Warner
Cable for the Akron area and Akron Public
Schools Online Television Network as a videographer and editor of
informational, documentary and children's programing, including the
nationally syndicated children's show "Ask
Gilby".
