is Official Selection of the Geauga Film Festival
The Telly Award Winning "To See the Moon in the Morning Sky" is an
Official Selection of the
Geauga Film Festival.
The festival will take place June 9 - 14 at the Historic Geauga Theatre
on Chardon Square. "Morning Sky" is the closing film on opening
night, Tuesday June 9, 2009 at 7:35pm.

"Morning
Sky" Wins 2008 Telly Award!
The independent
feature film, "To See the Moon in the Morning
Sky", has won a 2008 Bronze Telly
Award for Outstanding Achievement in Non-Broadcast Low
Budget Film/Video Production. Director and editor Peter Fields
says, "This
is a wonderful achievement. 'Morning Sky' was a true labor of
love. I
am so happy our film was recognized by the Telly Awards and I want to
say thank you and congratulations to our amazing cast and crew!"
The
feature was shot in Lakewood, Akron, Stow, Highland Hills, and Shaker Heights, Ohio.
The story: Eleven years after
escaping the
horror of living
with an abusive husband, Hanna Lloyd, a single mother of two children,
now finds herself struggling to maintain her household after recently
losing her job. Complicating matters, Hanna notices that her now eleven
year-old son, Ricky, has acquired the gambling ways of his father, whom
he has never met. When Ricky finds a bag filled with thousands of
dollars in cash, things only get worse. The criminal who stole the
money discovers the boy has it and now stalks the family and is
determined to get the money back---no matter what the cost.
The

"Morning
Sky" Premieres at the 2007 Indie Gathering Film Festival
"To See the Moon in the Morning Sky will premiere at the 2007 Indie
Gathering Film Festival and National Competition on
Sunday, August
5, 2007 at 2:15 pm in Screening Room A. Additionally,
"Morning Sky" placed 4th out of a field of 40 submissions in the
Dramatic Feature Film Category. Congratulations to the cast and

January 1, 2007 Picture Editing Completed
The picture edit for "Morning Sky" has been completed. The film
now moves on into the hands of the composer, Terrance Lee Fields, for
the music underscore. Currently, the film is slated for a Spring
premiere. More information coming soon.
