e Story
Eudi Tracey ("Hadass"/Associate Producer) has been
a performer since age four, when, with her twin sister, Euni,
she sang and tap danced at the old Cleveland Arena in between
boxing matches. As the Margolis Twins, Eudi and Euni sang at various
venues in the Greater Cleveland area, had their own radio and
television shows from the age of 15-18 and on the "old"
WXEL TV station as well as on WERE radio. At WERE, they met Bill
Randle, Carl Reese and the late Phil McLean and Tommy Edwards,
all of whom were very supportive of their desire to turn professional.
Bill Randle was responsible for their recording, "Tonight
You Belong to Me" at age 19 when they became professional
under the name of The Tracey Twins. Their first manager, a holocaust
survivor, did not want the public to know they were Jewish so
changed their name from Margolis to "Tracey" to go with
"twins". They traveled throughout the U.S. and Canada,
performing in night clubs, theaters and country and state fairs,
where they worked with such people as The Crew Cuts, The Four
Lads, Peg Leg Bates, The Diamonds, Danny Thomas and more. Their
national televison credits are The Arthur Godfrey Show and Midwestern
Hayride and in every city in which they appeared, they did the
local televison shows as well as the disc jockey radio shows,
plugging their recordings. The late Cleveland television star,
Dorothy Fuldheim, was a fan. When back in Cleveland in between
engagements, they made appearances on hers and Bill Gordon's "One
O'Clock" television show. Ms. Tracey is still in touch with
Bill Randle, Carl Reese, and Bill Gordon. Seekers of the Statue
marks Ms. Tracey's motion picture debut.
Robert
Abrams ("Michael"). Seekers of the Statue
is 13 year-old Robert's first film. He was selected for this movie
while attending the Shaker Heights Summer Theatre where Peter
Anthony Gould was teaching a class on filmmaking. Mr. Abrams has
played Charlie Brown in the stage musical You're a Good Man,
Charlie Brown and has been a chorus member in the same production.
Bruce
Jennings ("Jonathan"/Music Composer) has appeared
in regional and professional theater in Ohio, New York, Hawaii,
Lyon, France and Amman, Jordan. He has composed and performed
music for children and families he calls DadSongs (www.dadsongs.com). He frequently appears in area
clubs playing percussion and blues harp. Seekers of the Statue
is Mr. Jennings' first film acting experience as well as his first
film-scoring project. Bruce hopes to continue to create more music
for films. "I see a great opportunity to expand the role
of music in independent films. The way music helps to tell the
story is magical." The sources for the sounds in the score
are diverse, and include: electronic keyboards, acoustic guitar
and bass, African udu clay pot drums and--he promises this is
true, digitally altered sounds of the door on his stove. Mr. Jennings
is a Special Education Aide for the Shaker Heights Board of Education.
He is married and lives in Shaker with three children and two
cats. He dedicates the film's score to the memory of his mother,
Florence Jennings, who passed away shortly after filming.
Krissy

of the Statue, her second independent film. She most recently
appeared in Black Comedy at Lakeland community College,
her second professional role. Ms. Gasbarre graduated with a double-major
in psychology and communications at John Carroll University in
May of 2002. She now attends Fordham University in New York City
for her master of arts in communications. She thanks her lovely
family and friends for their love and the cast and crew of this
film for an awesome learning experience.
Aja
Martin ("Sara") has been performing since she was
in kindergarten but became serious about her acting when she entered
the seventh grade. She has performed with such theatre groups
as Heights Youth Theatre (HYT), Shaker Summer Theatre and Hawken
Players Society (HPS). Seekers of the Statue was her first
film role, and she hopes that she has more opportunities to work
on camera again. Aside from theatre, Aja loves to sing, dance,
play piano, read and hang out with her friends. She would like
to thank all of her friends and family who have helped her along
in life, especially La Dawn, Heather, Samantha, and her parents.
