The World Premiere date has been set for Saturday, May 22, 2004 at 1pm. The event will take place at Shaker Heights High School's newly remodeled Small Auditorium. There is no charge for admission. A number of scenes were filmed at the high school during the summer of 2003 which prompted the producers to select the school as the venue for the world premiere. "The city, district and the administration of the high school were extraordinarily accommodating to us during this whole process," says producer/director Peter Anthony Gould. "Shaker Heights believes in investing in their children and their schools; The Way Home is a family film and we felt that premiering this picture in Shaker and, specifically, at the school would be a wonderful way to acknowledge the commitment to the family and community that we all share and that is incorporated in our film ." The address for Shaker Heights High School is 15911 Aldersyde Road 44120. The film's running time is 1 hour 18 minutes.

As director/editor Peter Anthony Gould continues to edit The Way Home, he begins to realize that his work on the film is almost complete. "I'm starting to feel a little sad, now, as I move through the raw footage and assemble it into a finished, polished work," Gould says. "With every scene that I finish editing, I realize I'm moving closer to the end and my long journey with this film is almost over. But I'm also very excited because I feel very proud of what we have accomplished and I can't wait to unwrap this gift and share it with others. It's a very special film."
